Traveling with an Electric Vehicle

I am starting the travel nurse saga and eventually would like to get an EV in the next few years (yes Tesla has been in my eyesight) but I want to know how inconvenient or rewarding this is for nurses?

Let me know if you have an EV and travel.

Specializes in ICU, travel.

Charging it will suck in less familiar areas.

I generally stick to large metropolitan areas like LA, NYC, Seattle. Another downside of getting a Tesla is that Teslas are sociopolitical statements in and of themselves, and not really the message you'd think. If you parked a Tesla at my local university's hospital, your car is getting keyed.

Buy your new Tesla at the end of your contract. No one enjoys the traveler flexing on them and it sucks when you're on the receiving end of getting your car damaged.
