I would like some input from anyone will to give it:) I want to move to Denver. I currently work for the VA. I could either transfer to the VA in Denver, or find a hospital that will relocate me and hopefully have a sign-on bonus. Another thought I had was to work for a travel nurse company and take a 6 month assignment in Denver. I can't decide what to do. I will have 14 months med/surg experience by the time I would move their. thanks in advance for any advice!

Why not get a transfer to the VA in Denver? I accepted a job that had a nice sign on bonus if and only if I agreed to stay full time for one year. I only lasted 5 months.

I would definately get a transfer. You get to retire after only 20 years. You might get a sign on bonus but you have to think about retirement benefits and with the VA there are alot of benefits.
