Just wondering if anyone has been on assignment to any secluded, hard to reach or highly in demand travel positions in Alaska and if so what are the details. ie pay, location etc

Try World Wide medical Staffing, I saw on another board that they has some positions in Alaska.. might have been PICU, but im sure if they staff PICU there is chance for other openings.

I had a good friend who got a travel nurse job up in Alaska. She loved it, she had always wanted to go there and there was a position open there. Her agency set her up with the hospital in Anchorage. I'm not sure about pay though, from what I understand the median salary is above that of nursing jobs in the continental US.

I worked with a fellow traveler that said she made very good money in AK (she does one contract up there every year). She traveled through MedPro Staffing :: Home. From what she talked about she said the assignemts are hit or miss on pay. I also travel through MedPro but have never gone to Alaska. Jessica is my Recruiter
