I used to work with American mobile. The way i used to get a job interview with the manager was by calling direct numbers myself. Now I work with Medstaff. And my recruiter told me that i don't need to call directly and there is a recruter/staffer who does that. It has been a week and I haven't heard a call from any assignment. What's going on? How do you guys get a job offer? please comment.

This came across my mind today when I was speaking with my rcruiter for Medical Express (AMN). She suggested me calling the nurse manager of the hospital I am trying to get a contract at, and I did this trying to find my last contract before I renewed....my thoughts are as follows.....if they get to keep all of that money that is paid for my services, then they should be making the calls and so on! If I am going to do the contacting and questions, then I don't need a company! Plus, I felt as if I was probably annoying the pants off o fthe last manager I was trying to contact, and I never got a return call.....I think thats what these companys are getting paid for, finding the positions and making the connections.

Yeah, I agree. They should do patching through for you.
