I am looking for a travel company which has nurses who specialize in correctional healthcare.Anyone have any idea which companies do this? I am sure any of them would try, but I want a good one.Any help is appreciated!

She said she did have to take a proficiency test specific to Corrections Nursing. I guess if they have an area-specific test for Corrections, they must staff prisons fairly often, though.

I They seem to be pretty well-staffed by the State and local governments though.

Geeg 401 Posts Jul 2, 2005 Have you done correctional nsg before? I worked a short time in county system, I thought security was lax. I don't know if you are going to CA, but check it out , the state prison system healthcare has been put into receivership due to gross negligence in delivering care.
