Travel CNA or CMA (Medication Aide)

Anybody know of experiences as/with a travel CNA or CMA? I'm trying to work FT to save up to finish nursing school next fall, and pay here isn't so great. TIA

You couldĀ do travel assignments while in nursing school? Amazing. I'd suggest that instead of working as a CNA, work for a hospital that hires senior nursing students as aides. The pay will be no less, and assisting nurses will be more enlightening than rote work (although even that role will make you more efficient as an RN). Doing such work for a teaching hospital may land you a good internship after you graduate to kickstart your career. Considering life and compensation after graduation, it may be worth increasing your debt (if possible for you) to reduce financial stress and devote more time to school.

Yes, there are travel CNAs. If you currently have benefits, you may find that a travel assignment with no benefits is a bad deal. Takes only a few minutes to call a few agencies to find out what kind of assignments and pay are possible.
