The only way you will discover if the pay is fair is to call a number of other agencies. No one here can tell you about your unique experience with an offer this week at that unnamed hospital in a very large state with different regional pay, much less make a value judgement about what you might consider a decent offer.
NedRN, I forgot I said any feedback would be appreciated, but your response expressed was like a new nurse with an experience personal who is ready to ready pounce on the newbie when the wrong questions/answers are given or asked. Well it a matter of interpretation, thanks for your response.
You can't expect other nurses to spoon feed you specific information. You have to be willing to get on the phone and do your homework. And if the assignment does not work out then learn from it and move on. Travel nursing is a very individual experience. Experienced travelers can guide you and give great advise but you have to be willing to do the leg work.
Miam, what was the purpose of your response? Why do u think there are travel nurse blogs? Is it not to exchanged information & experiences!
i'm not looking to be spoon fed, I'm asking the community if they have used this agency and what was there experience. I found it odd that my post brought such negative responses. The saying "if you don't have anything good to say, say nothing" holds true.

I was recently offered a PACU travel assignment in Florida with Soliant travel, with $1100-1200 36hrs per week take home after taxes, no housing. no insurance etc. Question how is this company and is this a fair contract pay. $23 taxable and 590 non-taxable. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
