Transferring into Rutgers Newark Nursing program

Hi, so this past year I applied to Rutgers Newark nursing program, but I did not get in, I'm looking into going to Rutgers Newark SAS school for now, and then later transferring into the nursing program. Did anyone else transfer into this program, if yes, how did you transfer and what are some classes you took in your first year at the SAS school?
