Hi all.

I have been accepted into the college of nursing in New Brunswick and registration is on July 10 in Newark. Has anyone else been accepted into this program or has transferred into this program? I would like to know what I have to do before registration. Will registration also be an orientation? The email they sent was very short and had little information.

Hi.

I am still waiting for my decision. If you dont mind me asking, what are your stats.

Hello.

I'm transferring from SAS. I spent one year at Middlesex County College and completed A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, stats, and lifespan. Transfered to SAS with a 4.0. Spent one year in SAS taking prereqs such as nutrition and health, chemistry of life, and research in disciplines. Finished the year with a 3.8. I only have a few prereqs left before I can do clinicals so I'm thinking about a minor.

Although they didn't ask about extracurriculars, I mentioned on the application that I work as a student research assistant at Robert wood Johnson medical school part time during the school year, full time during breaks.

Good luck!

Hi, did you get accepted into the BSN or ABSN program? I got accepted into New Brunswick ABSN program.

Hi, I got accepted into the BSN program as I do not have an undergraduate degree. But congratulations, I've heard the ABSN program is extremely difficult to get in to.

Thank you and congrats on your acceptance too. I attended the open house and I have heard how tough it is. I just paid my tuition deposit and criminal background check. Do you know what will happen next? I am so clueless as to when the class starts, etc.

I didn't know anything about a criminal background check. And tuition is not due for me till august I believe, there's an orientation on July 11th where I will register for classes. Have you had an orientation/registration?

Not yet. They attached my acceptance letter with a list to do before I start the program. I was told by the admission lady that my orientation will be in August. I have not receive any other news. Please let me know how your orientation goes. Good luck!!

Since you're doing ABSN I assume you're gonna do clinicals and that's why they need a background check? I still need a few pre reqs before I can do clinicals

Thanks, it's tomorrow, I can't wait!
