I am transferring into Lewis University into the nursing program (hopefully). I went to Bradley University my first year and majored in Health Science Pre-PA. I worried about taking the KAT test and the scoring. Can anyone give more up-to-date information about the scores you have to have in each section as a transfer student into the Lewis nursing program?

Do you thinks it's easier to be a nurse? You are afraid of a test? So you are settling for what you think is easier?
I have no idea about Lewis nursing or even where it is located. Your best bet is to call the school directly.
no its just that Lewis doesn't have a health science program so nursing would be the closet option....

If your plan is to still go on to PA school, you would probably better off in a biology major. I would check the requirements for the PA programs to make sure your bachelor degree covers all the classes you would need.

I think NurseGirl may have misunderstood. I'm starting at Lewis University as a transfer nursing student and I took the KAT in February. When you take the test, you get a percentage score at the end. There are four parts to the test: writing, reading, science, and math. The only sections that count for admission is math and reading, so these are the only ones you need to worry about. You need an 82 or higher on math and a 78 or higher on reading. I hope this helps! Good luck!
