Call the school to be sure. Only they can guarantee anything.

This is what my advisor sent me just a few weeks ago. From my understanding this is something common as it is obviously cheaper to complete these courses at a community college rather than at UTA.
PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFER OF NURSING COURSES
In order to transfer equivalent pre-nursing (Introduction to Professional Nursing, Pathophysiology, or Pharmacology) or upper-division nursing courses to the UT Arlington College of Nursing a student must:
- Send a portfolio to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Student Services
The portfolio must include:
o An official transcript from the institution attended
o Copies of the catalog descriptions for the pre-nursing or nursing courses
o Copies of the syllabus for each pre-nursing or nursing course. Syllabi must include course description, number of credit hours, course objectives, and a content outline.
- The portfolio will be evaluated by the appropriate lead teacher.
- A student will be notified in writing of approval or denial of the pre-nursing or nursing course(s) requested for transfer.
- Syllabi of nursing courses within another nursing program must be re-evaluated each subsequent semester that they are submitted.
- Syllabi of pre-nursing courses from community colleges/universities (Introduction to Nursing, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology) that have been approved by the College of Nursing do not need to be re-evaluated unless the course description changes in that college/university catalog and/or it has been two years since the previous evaluation.
Portfolio may be submitted via dropped off scanned and e-mailed, in person, faxed, or mailed:

The only thing that was unclear is if A. this is done before the courses are taken or B. once you've already began them. If it's once you have began these courses what if they are not "approved" and you enrolled for nothing. If it's before, it's difficult to get syllabi from instructors that you are not actively enrolled in their courses.
My problem is I am taking one of the 3 (intro, pharm, patho) in the fall, one in the spring and one in the summer. That's 3 diff submissions either before, during or after I've taken the course.
Has anyone already done this process that can help clarify?

Thank you for the information..now I'm wondering if they have taken the classes from el centro previously..I've been told that they might not since the credits for the pharmacology course is only a 2 hour credit class versus their pharmacology 3 hours credit class
