I was hoping to connect with someone who has transferred graduate credit in to a NP program at the University of Cincinnati.
Before applying to the AGPCNP program at UofC, I spoke to an admission advisor. I was concerned about my less than perfect GPA and ways that I could improve my odds of acceptance. She suggested taking the "3 P's" at Capella University then applying. I took the 3 suggested classes and now UofC does not want to apply the credit hours to my degree!!! An appeal is in the works but I was hoping to find someone who has taken classes recently at Cincinnati to compare the syllabus or someone who has transferred credits. Thanks!!

What are the "3 Ps?" Im doing prereqs at UC so I'm afraid I can't help answer your specific question but I am curious what you are talking about. I have found things to move kind of slow here but I haven't been in school in a really long time so I might not get the context...

Advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment are the 3 Ps
Thank you! 203bravo- I don't want to hijack the thread but are these usually part of a BSN or MSN program? I am in patho right now and taking pharmacology next semester but these are prereqs at a BSN level. I am hoping to get into the direct entry MSN program at UC but I am looking at finishing prereqs 8 months before I would start the program. It would be great to get a few more classes done prior to starting.
This is for the MSN program, Adult-gero primary care NP. All NP programs at UC have this in the curriculum. You will need to take graduate level for these courses to translate into a MSN program. Speak to one of the graduate school advisers or someone in the program you plan to apply for.
