Transfering to Acute Dialysis

Ok it's official my transfer papers were signed yesterday and I will be starting in Acute dialysis in aprox. 2 weeks! Any advice? I know it's going to be a huge change from what I'm used to but I'm extremely eager to learn and thankfully I already have a good reputation among the nephrologist at the hospital I work.

How is it going in the Acute Dialysis? I am about to do my RN Refresher clinicals in an acute Dialysis unit. I would love to know how it is going? I am still trying to decide if I should do MICU instead. I hope I can get a job when I am finished.

Wow.... it's hard to believe it's been 8 months already even though some days it seems like I've been working here forever! I'm still loving my position even though there are days where I get completely aggrivated. I work in a small unit and like the autonomy of dialysis.
