transfer to OR- not new RN

Interested in some opinions, maybe from Charge nurses or those who do peer interviewing.

How are my chances of transfer:

1. 5-10 yrs as floor RN from stepdown unit.

2.Age is greater than 40 but less than 50.

3. Did have 6 mos experience in a procedural area

I don't know what the hours are that are being offered. It just says full time.Are there ever 3 12 hour shifts offered? Am I able to ask these things at an interview, as this would be an internal application.

Do some or's in hospitals not have call? I live too far away to make call in 30 minutes or less.

Would I increase my chances of employment if I took a scrub tech course? ( 800 bucks out of pocket)
