Transfer from CC to MCI-Richmond

I have been taking pre-nursing classes at a local community college. It seems getting into the nursing school at the CC is going to be a pain (ie. wait lists, etc.). Would it be a bad idea to transfer to MCI in Richmond? Has anyone done this? If I were to do it, would the classes I have taken at the CC transfer to MCI?

My niece went to MDI in Charlotte, NC. I think they will give credit for the classes you have already taken, she got to skip a couple that she had taken previously. It is expensive, but if you think about the fact that you will be working much sooner than if waitlisted, I personally think it is worth it.
