Hello everyone!
I am a Spanish nurse working in the UK since 2013. I have got 2.5 years of experience working in AED Adults; 1 years in a ward, and 8 months in Paediatric ICU. I have been chosen for an interview for a Trainee ANP... It'd be my beloved position!!!!
So any tips, osces, scenarios, tricks, recommendations and suggestions are more than welcome and appreciated! (note the little histery I am having )
Thanks!!

hey there welcome to allnurses! And congrats on the job! I'm an American NP although I do have a UK nursing license. I've never seen UK NPs post on allnurses before but maybe someone will see this post and help you out. I would love to know what kind of training you are getting and are you doing a masters degree? It's my understanding that UK NPs don't have a separate license although they do have one in order to prescribe, is that right?

I'd also like to know this. I'm a UK trained nurse but I've been in the USA for 15 years and we didn't have NPs back in my day. I'm in school over here in the US to be an NP though, so I'd love to compare in case I ever decide to retire back to England.
