Hello my youngest will be 1 on the 10th of December. he was born premature @ 34 weeks and 5 days. He spent 1 month in the nicu and when he pulled him self off the venta lator and finally breath on his own they let him come home he just recently had a broncoscopy done and they diagnose him with asthma and the tracheomalacia, bronchomalacia, and the layyngomalacia. We have had a few tips to th ER due to retractions. As a mother of four I am eager to learn about this and would like it if any one could giveme and info. Is it a birth defect? is it hereditary? Any info please. Thank you

Hello Cubbiesmom 78 :)

One of my grandchildren had tracheomalacia. He is now almost 23 months of age, and seems to be over it pretty much.

If you send me your email via "Private Message", I will pass it on to my daughter who would be more than happy to email you about her experience with it with my grandson.

((((hugs)))) :kiss
