My license is out of Texas as a compact state. After traveling, I moved to Oklahoma where I am currently living. I received a letter from TPAPN from an incident four years ago, but you can only live in Texas and work in Texas. My life is now in Oklahoma as well as my job. Not sure if I should get an attorney or call the Oklahoma board to see if I can enter their peer assistance program. Just not sure if anyone else was in this predicament.

For a license to grant multi-state privileges, that state has to be your primary state of residence. If you moved to OK, you should have endorsed your license when you relocated.

This, you had 60 days to change your primary state of residence once you moved. Here is a link. I imagine you'd just change your residency and do Oklahoma's program, but I'm not sure.

Just received a letter from TPAPN for incident 4 years ago where I failed a drug test in OK. I own it that this is my problem and I am willing to face the consequences. Anyone else had this problem. TPAPN mentioned that sometimes the OK peer assistance program with report to TPAPN. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I will not make excuses for my actions. Thank you!
