How many people are they hiring for the upcoming cohort? And what do you mean by "I'm not in the waiting game" ...does that mean you've found out that you were selected/not selected for the Versant program?

Sorry about that. That was a typo...I meant I am now in the waiting game.I saw on the new grad facebook page that they were hiring 30, I'm not how true that is though.

Hi all,I noticed that there was no thread for the upcoming program and thought I would get one started. I have had my interview and I'm not in the waiting game. Hopefully this thread can be a place for information and support as we all await to see if we have been chosen!

I applied but I did not recieve a rejection email or call. Should I follow-up anyway? Are they still conducting interviews? This was one of my dream places to work because it was so close to home. Congratulations anyway!

Thank you! TMMC is really a great organization and I would love to work there.From facebook it seems that they are still conducting intial interviews this week. I never think that it hurts to call.

Ive got an interview on July 3rd, which I believe was added last minute (and is possibly the last interview date). they also informed me that they had already selected all their candidates for the preliminary interviews.

Is anyone else already working there as a Nurse Tech?

I'm not are you a tech there? Did you schedule your panel already? It seems like everyone that gets an intial gets a panel. That seems different from previous years according to previous threads on here that I've read about the program.

This is what I heard too! Why is this??? That's really weird. To think that the initial interview would be set in place to eliminate more applicants...

@pripreezy, not true. The recruiter scheduled me for July 3rd, but told her I couldn't make it on that day so mine is on July 5 :) I guess she wanted to schedule everyone before the holiday.

Does anyone know how many total applicants applied for Torrance's Versant Program? Someone on the FB page said that they're interviewing 57 people and hiring 30 so our changes of getting hired is about a 1:2 ratio

Can you post the link to the fb page? I can't find it. 1:2 ratio is very good. @beachbluern yes I was a nurse tech there for over 2 yrs. Love the place. And I hope I get some sort of leg-up for working there. In the last cohort they were saying that only 3 internal candidates were chosen out of the 10 that applied. How discouraging.
