Can someone please tell me the name of the tool used for Bacillin Injections? The "plunger" that screws into the prefilled syringe, what is the tool actually called? Thanks

Are you thinking of a TUBEX holder? There is a blue one out there too, but I don't remember the name.

Ahh and it says Wyeth has discontinued all it's tubex cartrides. Wonder about the generic drugs in them?

Tubex or a Carpuject?
Yes the one I'm thinking of is plastic and is light blue. I hope someone will know the "official" name if this "thingy."
The Tubex and Carpujects I've seen are all blue. The difference in the Carpuject that I recall is that it had clear wings and a clear thing that the syringe sort of slips into. The Tubex just basically screwed onto the top and was solid blue.
A google search of the brand names comes up with syringe holder and injection systems.
