Took wrong job need help

Ok, so I took a job at a healthcare location and have found this is not a good fit. I am still within the probationary period in this position. After doing a LOT of thinking about leaving the position I feel that is the best thing to do. My issue is will leaving after a very short time less than one month cause me issues in finding a job in 2 years after I graduate. Staying seems unfair to the employer and to me. This is causing me a lot of stress. It is not an issue of patient care as I love to perform patient care. It is just obviously not a the right place for me. Being blackballed in the profession is a very real thing and I don't want to have that happen. I am trying to be vague in this post to protect myself but hopefully have given you enough information to offer any advice that may be helpful.

I'm taking exception to the expression "blackballed" because that means that you'd be subjected to some sort of unjustified discrimination prohibiting you from getting another job. However, if you leave a job after such a short period of time, it will look very bad on your resume. Potential employers will lack confidence that you are willing to make a commitment to them either. Their opinion would NOT be unjustified - it would be a conclusion based upon evidence in your job history.

I understand and respect your need to avoid using any sort of specific information in your post. However, if you're involved in a situation so serious that it is causing you to think about leaving so quickly, I urge you to discuss it with someone in your own organization. Talk to your manager. Or, if your manager is the issue, talk to HR. No one can help you if they don't even know that a problem exists.

I apologize if the word blackballed offended. This is a term I have heard from reading the posts on these message boards, nurses in the field and others in healthcare that I know. I am not the "typical" student if there is such a thing. My job history is well established in other career fields so my work ethic can definitely be verified along with longevity at those positions. However, this is my first time in a healthcare facility. I started working at 16 and have never been without a job. In my almost 20 years in the workforce I have never had this particular type of experience and still feel very uneasy staying at the facility. Thank you for your reply and advice it is appreciated.
