and I am so glad that its over. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I only studied last night for a couple of hours(literally like two) and did okay. I'm sure I would have done better had I not proscrastinated, but oh well.:D It's over and I'm ffrreee!!! I officially changed my major to Nursing, although it is not official until I receive my acceptance, if I do. I am going to speak with an advisor tomorrow regarding classes, etc. Yay!!:yeah:

Congrats!!I will be taking it in 3 week! Any suggestions?? I dont really know what to expect. Is the ATI guide a good study method? THANKS!

The only advice I can give is to pace yourself. I say this because eventho the test is timed, you have ample time to complete the sections. If you are taking it online, the timer is there, letting you know where you stand. I finished all sections with time remaining, although I cut it pretty close with the math. Speaking of the math, I highly recommend only doing part of the problem if possible. There were MANY problems where I got like the last number of the answer, searched for it in the choices available, and was able to complete the problem much faster than working it all out. With this method, I also checked to make sure I was right tho. I would brush up on the metric system. There is a lot of that on the test, especially millis and centis. The science, while not hard, is very broad. Because of this site, I was able to look into some things that were on the test, like rocks, water cycle, etc. This was a great help because these items did appear on the test. I will post more as I remember because my memory is shot.

Oh, the only source I used was the internet, this site, and the McGraw E-book. I only looked at the book once last night for about 15 minutes...so sad. I just googled what I saw mentioned in other posts.:nurse: Good Luck on your test, and I'm sure you'll do fine!!!:yeah:

Thanks so much.. the items you listed above are what I have been brushing up on..I got a lot of info. from this website and everyone seems to have the same opinions. What about vocabulary? Any intense words I will need to know? You must be so happy to have it over and done with. Good for you! :yeah:
