I just took the Pax-RN today and I ended up with a composite score of 127. What does the composite percentile score really mean? On my school's website it says composite score grades fall in the area of 0-160, so I am guessing my score is "decent"? Also, it says under "DI" that it is a 93, "AD" was an 88 and "ALL" was an 89. What do these scores mean to me? Thanks for your help!

Ok. Ill try to explain from what I was told. Depending on what kind of program you are in DI-Diploma. AD-associate degree. ALL means out of all the programs. SO your 88 in AD, lets say you are in an associate degree program you did 88% better than others that took the exam for AD admission. Your composite is like the overall score you got from your raw scores. But it doesnt necessarly mean because you got lets say 200 right out of 230. Fictional numbers of course. That you divide and get that score. Its like a calculation of your raw and how they are compared to others that took the test and those extra test questions are taken out. Hope not too confusing.
Does that help?
Thank you very much for taking the time to explain it. So in reality there really is no getting a "100%", it is all based on relative scoring to the other test takers? I was really just trying to figure out if the grades I recieved are considered better than average and it seems that they are. But just to clarify, according to my composite (composite is the one I should be paying attention to right?) AD score of 88, (I am going to a community college with an associate program) I did 88% better than the other people who took the test that same day? Does this sound right?
I don't think it necessarly means 88% of the people that took it that day bit overall the people that took the test for as degree I believe from your school. Don't quote me. Your composite is important to your school so the higher the better. This is from your raw and other criteria. You gotta see what ur scchool needs. I'm retaking mine to get a higher score.

Hi!! Quick question. When looking at the results are you going by the composite percentile or each individual sections percentile?
Composite percentile.

Can someone help me sort this out, of what it means? At the school my friend is at these are her scores. She has to get 50% in all areas, and the overall score needs to be a 75%... so can someone help me to determine if she did this?
