So today I took the nclex and it shut off at 76 questions... The reason I think I failed is because you know how they say the worse you feel the better your doing... Well I didn't feel that way at all, also I didn't get any unfamiliar questions... I didn't think the test was easy or hard just in the middle. I also only got 5 or 6 idk SATA questions, 2 exhibit and a ton of priority and delegation questions... Idk I'm so confused I mean I don't think I failed so bad that it had to cut me off at 76 but who knows. Has anyone else had the same experience or is it just me?

Is this your first attempt at NCLEX, and were you educated in the US? If yes to both, you have approximately a 90% chance of passing. Those are good odds.
Next consider the kind of student you were, what kinds of grades you received, how you prepared for this exam. Does your school have a very good passing rate? After all that....which scenario do you think is more likely: that you did so poorly that the computer deemed you incompetent very quickly, OR that you did very well and the computer deemed you competent very quickly?
I bet you know the answer to that one. Hang in there!
Thank you everyone! I was born in the U.S. I'm the kind of student that works extremely hard for my grades but I still get Bs, I've always been a hard worker but never been a great test taker. I have no clue what my odds are I'm reading way too much stuff online that's making me feel like I failed because everyone's saying how the exam got so much harder and I didn't feel that way at all or at least I wasn't paying attention. I know I got a lot of labs and priority and delegation questions but idk... Will see if I pass tomorrow!
Good luck :)
Keep in mind that "harder" is a HUGELY subjective thing. There are people who passed with 75 questions, having been quite sure they failed because the test seemed too easy. Go figure!
I went the full 205 questions
