Took NCLEX today

Hi all,

well this morning was my 3rd attempt..... computer shut off at over 200 questions:banghead::banghead: i lost count after 200, cos i stopped looking. Had loads of priority, delegation,infection control, 3 sata, no math questions. Felt awful when I came out..dont know If I can do this again...:crying2:

Anyway, I was thinking... when you know you got a question right, have any of you noticed that the next question had a word highlighted in bold..eg.. You are assigned 4 patients, who would you see FIRST. So does that mean you are getting the higher level right???

Most of my questions were like this !!!!! Wots your take on this???? AM i just clutching at straws here???

Anywhooooo GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO ARE SITTING THIS MENACING MONSTER.:bow::bow:

Don't know anything about the word in bold, you may be onto something there. Anyway, congratulations on taking the test and wishing you good luck.

hi rgnscot. I took my NCLEX today too. that was a crazy test. I was on questions 3 when it started to get harder. I would read the question, be able to eliminate 2, then reread the question and try to reason why one would be the right answer and why the other would be the right answer till i was so sure that I picked the right one. but then some were ok, and some were like i have no idea. I ended at 75 and freaked out, i did not want the test to end yet...

i had priority questions, med-surg, pysch, NO OB, some peds, teachin a class, and i think about 10 SATA only no other type or med calc and about 15 med of some that I knew and some that I have never ever studied and felt horrible.

I have been studying for 3 months for this exam. I did Kaplan mosty with content review from Hogan and Saunders. I dunno how to feel.

i hope we hear some good news soon...

Hi rngscot, I took the RN NCLEX yesterday 03/12/09 in Cali and it was my 3rd attempt...I had 3 SATAs, priority, teaching, infection control, meds, and very few psych questions. A total of 75questions. There were no math and diagrams.

I'm praying for the best this time. And I wish you and others the best too. Will keep you guys posted.

Well i finally did it ..no more nclex for me..i,m so glad its over

please let me know how you all did.. i,m UK trained, so i come under the % that dont pass first time.3rd time the charm for me..
