FIRST OFF! BREATH! Secondly, try the PVT to have an indication. You never know whats going to happen so have more faith in yourself.
This is right off the Pearson website,
"Scenario #3: Run-Out-of-Time Rule (R.O.O.T.)If a candidate runs out of time before reaching the maximum number of items and the computer has not determined with 95% certainty
whether the candidate has passed or failed, an alternate criteria is used.
• If the candidate has not answered the minimum number of required items, the candidate automatically fails.
• If at least the minimum number of required items were answered, the computer looks at the last 60 ability estimates:
-- If the last 60 ability estimates were consistently above the passing standard, the candidate passes.
-- If the candidate’s ability estimate drops below the passing standard even once over the last 60 items, the candidate fails.
This does not mean that the candidate must answer the last 60 items correctly. Each ability estimate is based upon all previous items answered."
Sorry to hear you ran out of time. I was worried about that during my exam. The PVue site was down for maintanence tonight anyway, but regardless of that fact my exam results are still on hold, its been almost 2 days since Ive taken the exam. Can anyone direct me to the site where I can pay the money to find out in 2 business days my true result. If I failed I just want to know for sure. Im not taking my next test on a Friday again. Business days are M-F, does this mean I would have to wait until next Tuesday to try and get my unofficial results? Im so Angry about this results on hold business, noone else in my class has had this happen.
Already tried PVT trick and got cc page I guess I already failed.,.thanks everyone for the info I really appreciate it.,.Now I don't know where to start again.,.already tried Saunders and Kaplan and still I failed.,.I guess I need a few days to relax and get back for studying again.,.
I am so sorry to heart this. Take a break first. After your break you can get back into studying content. Study as if you never went to nursing school. then master on test taking strategy. Good luck and never give up
