I took all 265 questions and spent 6 exhausting hours doing my test on Thursday 01/08/09. I feel I am not gonna to pass, I decided to start over the review again right after this weekend. In fact, waiting the result is the worst part of this experience, mentally and physically. I lost appetite, had a sleepless night, and got lots of upper back pain from the 6 hrs intense Exam.
I tried to search my result from the Ohio board of nursing web site, it indicated to check with Ohio license center web site https://license.ohio.gov/default.asp however it says" The fact that the licensure status cannot be verified on-line at this time should not be construed to mean the license is not active, valid or current."My questions for all of you here is :
Is that because of it's too soon to check the result? or I went to a wrong website?
If it's a wrong place, where is the right place to find out my result?
If later on my name appears in the system, it displays as "pending", does it mean i have passed or it doesn't mean anything ? What appearance on the web would indicate "pass"?
If i didn't pass, do i have to do it again like the first application, send the "application for licensure by examination" to the Ohio board of nursing, get the permit to set the NCLEX, then register with the test administrator, NCS Pearson to get the ATT. Or i don't have to deal with the Board this time?
I got my BSN from New Zealand. I heard that the percentage for foreign trained nurses drops to about 45%.( From https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/85-pass-first-318208.html). Is that true? Anybody could provide official references?
I appreciate all of you who interested on my post.

Welcome,
Probably too earlier yet to get your results. The NSCBN shows the % and foreign trained nurses it is approx 45% that pass first time. If you see a license number after your name then you have passed. Pending means they haven't published results. If you haven't passed then you have to submit a retest to the BON, (usually get forms with a printout on how you did in the test) you do not have to go through everything again although will have to pay pearsonvue $200 and wait for ATT again

Hope this helps
Thank you very much for you fast reply!
But, how to submit a retest to the BON? Do I have to fill any form? or if so, how to get the form?
If they don't send anything with your print out then the BON should be the one to contact. I would just wait until you get your results before thinking on this.
