...And I instantly got the good pop up! Today, I was able to access my quick results and I saw what I had been hoping for-- I passed on my first attempt with approximately 140 questions in two hours.
I wanted to offer some hope to the members on here that might be waiting to test that, if you study hard, you'll make it-- even if some of your practice tests scores are less than appealing.
My school provided Kaplan as a resource (as well as PrepU NCLEX 10000). Of these, I found the practice tests on PrepU to be most helpful, as you start out with a "level 1" difficulty and slowly work yourself toward the goal of "level 8." I felt that the upper level questions of NCLEX was pretty consistent with what I saw content and difficulty-wise on the actual exam. Kaplan I felt was more discouraging than anything else-- the questions were much harder than what actually appeared on the exam. Plus, my scores from Q4 on were disheartening (upper 40s/low 50s). I gave up before I made it to the last QT. My study plan usually consisted of answering questions (150) on PrepU. Every other day I would use Kaplan resources. I also focused a lot of time in the actual Kaplan book (which I felt was very useful).
Good luck to everyone as they are taking their tests!
To those who have tested and already received licensure, how long did it take from when you took your test to when you received your license? How long did it take for your name to appear on your states BON website? I've seen a lot of mixed things and I'm not real sure what to expect... I'm in IL if that helps!

Congratulations! Yeah, NCLEX 10,000 was a great resource for me as well. I felt confident tackling the actual NCLEX exam.
I took NCLEX RN on Dec 17 and my name appeared on CA BON website on Dec 19. I received my license the following week.
