I am a nervous wreck about what my results could be, I've heard good and bad from ppl that say their test ended before the full 265. The first time I took it I had the FULL 265 and was a complete zombie in the end. I have reviewed HURST, HESI, Saunders Flash Cards, and used many Kaplan Questions to help prepare me today...I can say they did help but I'm not sure it was enough. This go round I had something prescribed to take for my nerves but still felt as if I was making foolish guesses throughout the test this am. Any help or advice from those that have had this same thing happen would be greatly appreciated. I have not tried the PVT yet....just praying for the "GOOD POP UP" when I do. The first tme I automatically got the BAD POP UP so I am a lil scared, LOL.

Hi pedsnurse12. I know how you feel. It's exhausting and exciting at the same time. You want to know right away if you pass or fail but to be honest, those pop ups stuff is still not bullet proof... I took my NCLEX 2009 and the computer stopped around 70s. I did the trick everyone did but I got the message to apply again. But then after a week of waiting, I saw my name on the list of the people who passed. So just relax now, take a breather, stop worrying. Go to a movie and if that doesnt work... Polish your resume. LOL. Good luck!
And the number of questions you answer doesn't mean anything. You can pass or fail with 80 or 200 or 265.

Number of questions does not indicate pass or fail, it just indicates that's how long for the computer to make a determination as to whether you are above the passing criteria. Each experience is unique, which is the nature of computer adaptive testing. If you feel you did well go ahead and try the PVT to see if you passed.
(I think the previous poster assumed that you stated that the PVT was the 'good pop up'...not that you were praying for the good pop up that you hadn't tried yet.)
In reply to the previous post, I have NOT yet tried the PVT this time....im trying to be patient and wait....but I ws just curious of others experiences when it cut off in low 200's....
