Took NCLEX GOT 265 NOT ALL NEAR PASSING

Published

I thought that if you took 265 you would be near passing in all the areas however I was above in 3 categories and below one and the rest where near passing, is that possible? Has anyone had that happen to them? Can you get the full 265 questions and not be near in all the areas?

You've answered your own question since obviously, you did. I don't mean that in a smart-a$$ kind of way. The fact that there is 265 questions on the NCLEX, maybe the 3 above areas, when combined with the one below area, averaged in a near passing category(???). But, that is all irrelevant now. If they've determined that you've failed, it's time to regain the focus, come up with plan B, and hit the books again because near passing is still not passing. Who knows what the computer was using to gauge your success or failure...you just need to keep it moving and, needless to say, add that below area to the near passing areas when you study. Good luck, hun!
