Hello everyone I took my hesi for the first time today. The score is nothing to brag about I am just posting to answer any questions you have about it. I took 4 sections on the hesi as required by my school. I made an 88 in anatomy, 84 reading comprehension, 80 grammar, and 92 math. For the anatomy I used quizlet flash cards from the internet and it covered most of it, but some questions were completely over my head. I also used the hesi review edition 3 and that helped a bunch too. I should've looked over the grammar and reading comprehension in the review but I didn't that was my mistake. The grammar is tricky you have to pick the correct usage of a word. Also know the grammar terms such as independent clause, dependent clause, etc. The math was pretty easy since you have the calculator ready on the right side of the page. I used the calc on every problem and missed some conversion problems. The math contains mostly of ratios, I'd say about 5 conversion problems where you have to input the answer, and simple addition and subtraction of decimals, and easy percentages. Good luck to everyone on the hesi!

Hmmm maybe I will do better on the math than I thought! I've been practicing all my math problems and practice tests without a calculator.

That's still a decent score! Hey you could have completely bombed it. I'm praying that you get into your program. What systems in anatomy would you advise focusing on?
