What state do you live in? It may depend on your state..I know that in my state(MD) we were given a pamphlet with each of the 25 skills we could have been asked on the test. The critical steps were in bold print. If we missed those, we failed the skill, and the test. If we missed a lot of the steps that weren't in bold, then we failed the test. So what I'm saying, if it wasn't in bold, and since you told the instructor that you made a mistake than I think you should be fine!!! I missed a step during a skill (bedpan) & I told the instructor. I passed on the 1st try :) Good luck!

Sooo yesterday I took my test... the written part I feel pretty good about.. but I KNOW I missed some things on my skills test! I was extremely nervous! I forgot to put a towel across the patient's chest during mouth care and I also forgot to give the call light on my first procedure but I did tell the evaluator after.. and made sure I gave it to the client for the rest of my procedures.
I FEEL like I passed but I have no idea how the skills part is graded.. And I really want to pass since I start my LVN program next semester and I'd probably lose a little bit of confidence if I fail! Does anybody know how they determine if you passed or not?
Thanks :)
