Hello everyone!

I started awhile ago LPN to RN program-a program where the degree was through excelsior called North Coast Tutoring in Cleveland, OH. This is program where you go once a week in a class room setting to get information/tutoring type on each class required for the nursing program. I took a couple years off to work and deal with life issues. Now I am ready to resume classes again and attempted to looked them up but was informed they discontinued their Nursing program due to low enrollment. This is a program where you pay up front! I was not informed they discontinued the program and surely do not know what to do. I was told no one was there to answer my questions due to the holiday. Any suggestions out there?? I am entitled to a refund right?? They did not allow on financial aid, I had to get a loan and pay in full.

Thank you

I would contact an attorney, your state Attorney General's office, the local media, the Better Business Bureau. You are probably out of luck unless you can locate an individual to sue for a refund. Chances are high that anyone involved with that operation are long gone. Lesson to be learned here is to stay in touch with persons/businesses that you have a relationship with, especially when it involves money. Good luck in getting your money back.
