It seems like 99% percent of the people in the nursing program are all out of college changing their career track in their twenties.
I'm going from highschool and got accepted in NCC day nursing program.
I'm really nervous about it.
Am I too young? Where will I fit the classes that other schools will want me to take for the Bachelors in my schedule? Will the professors pick on my for being the youngest?

hello Christina2tw!
First off CONGRATS on getting into the nursing day program at nassau!
Secondly, there are plenty of students who are straight out of high school or in their late teens, early 20s in high school. don't be intimidated by the older crowd! there will be older students everywhere no matter what school you go to. No the professors won't pick on you because you are the youngest. you earned your spot just like everyone else. if you put the work in, age won't even matter!
Nassau has the list of classes you need as well as the order you should take it in. Do research into schools you want to attend for your RN-BSN. every school is different on requirements: Some want nutrition, some want organic chemistry, etc. just do your research so you don't end up wasting your money and TIME!
Now I am in my mid 20s and i have a degree already and wanted to do SO many other things before i decided nursing was for me. If you really want it, you can do it! Good Luck!

Girl don't even give it a sustained thought. *LOL*
There are plenty of undergraduate nursing students fresh out of high school in pre and nursing programs all over NYC. You just don't hear about them as much because they are out doing what young folks do at that age; enjoying life, going to college and so forth.
Becoming a RN in your early twenties in some ways is a very good thing. As with other young college graduates you will have a much longer time span in theory to base your career upon.
