How soon is too soon to quit your first RN job? I work at a clinic, and I have been there 6 months, but have plans to move a few cities away, making the drive pretty long. Also, I am being bullied by both other nurses and 2 doctors. I come home crying many nights. It's not good for my mental health. And my drive is already close to an hour, so once I move it will be over an hour. Is it too soon to quit? Will it look bad on my resume to only work somewhere for 6 months? I just don't know if nursing is actually for me anyway. I don't find joy in it like I thought I would.

It's always better to try to stick it out for about a year. However, if you are getting ready to move very soon, making your commute much less do-able.... I would think many employers would understand why you left that job after six months. However, I would also have a good reason for moving, and an assurance that moving is not something you do all of the time.
Seriously, I have known people who are CONSTANTLY moving from town to town. I don't get it.
