Hi. I am a registered nurse from the Philippines, and passed my NCLEX exam (in state of CA) about 2 years ago. My fiance (who is an american citizen) and I, are now working on a fiance visa so I could follow him in the US. Now, I want to know if I should take the TOEFL exam. I am an NCLEX passer and the BON did not require me to take the toefl before sitting for nclex. Would the hospitals in California ask for a Toefl score once I applied for a job? please share your experiences and ideas. thanks!!

If you are coming over on a fiancée visa then generally English exams are not required however the state may still ask for it as may the hospitals
Thanks! :)
