i would just like to ask if you know whether i should take my toefl first before applying for nclex in illinois. i have already worked on my ces and received a copy of that report late last year. i'm planning to take toefl after i passed my nclex. is it possible since nursing here in the philippines is also taught using english language and the books we've use are also in english like fundamentals by kozier, ms by brunner, black...

Oh yes you have to pass the toefl first before you can be approved by BON of Illinois for NCLEX (as long as you studied in the Phils. regardless of the English books you used and the instruction you received)
