With the latest Ebola crisis, nursing came to the forefront in the news. The country, and the world, saw what a solid force the masses of nurses can be when they join together and let their voices be heard.
What nurses do you view as today's spokespersons and advocates for the nursing profession and key opinion leaders in the nursing world?

The American Nurses Association has started a movement with the goal of having 10,000 nurses in political office by 2020. Currently these are the congressmen/congresswomen that are nurses:

I think they would all be very influential solely by the position they hold. They impact our entire political system and many serve on high-ranking political committees.
