It was much needed. I suggest everyone do that soon!
I work full time and attend a night/weekend nursing school. My clinicals just ended for this semester. I will still have tests and classes through mid December, but at least I have completed the clinical portion of this year.
Today I had a manicure (now that my nails can be painted since clinicals are over), pedicure, hair cut and conditioning treatment, and had my eyebrows waxed for the first time ever!
I actually feel human again! I feel prepared to take on what the rest of the semester has in store. Just a few more weeks and I'll be more than 1/2 through my program!
So everyone, I suggest you go out and do something nice and relaxing for yourself and remember that breaks will help you see things in a different, and usually better, perspective.

You have to take a minute and take care of yourself. It really makes you feel so much better, you think clearly and are ready to take on anything. I always try to do something for myself, so that I am reminded of my goal, and why I wanted to do this in the first place.
Kudos to you.
