Here's my situation-- lol it is always a situation with me!
My husband and I currently manage rental property. We are quitting our jobs to pursue our dreams YAY!!
He wants to be an ag pilot. So in December we are quitting and he is going to a training center in LA and by April-May, he will be ready to go.
The more he travels and more assigments he is willing to take, the more money he will make, so he is wanting to travel most of the his first year.
I want to go to nursing school, and I know that is not going to happen while we are traveling, so we will have to find somewhere stationary to stay for a year while I get my LPN, which is NBD.
My question is... of course it will be more convienent to buy an RV with all the traveling, but I am just wondering how financially doable it really is. I mean with camp rates at 350-450 per month, plus the RV pmt which I am figuring as 250-300 (maybe I am not correct, I don't know a thing about financing an RV but we are not looking to spend more than 40K) Plus, we will have to have internet, cable, all the good stuff.
I guess I just need to hear that other people do it and it's great. We both love the outdoors so I think we will be ok.
Another thing, we have a small dog and two cats, will they adapt ok?
AND! I looooooove long baths. A 10gal tank? Is that enough, lol?
I am freaking out a little....
someone help... lol

I really enjoyed my winter assignment in Florida using a 40 ft 5th wheel toyhauler. I found out what I need and want in my personal RV and hope to make the purchase before I leave my current assignment in Arizona. I'm not sure if it would work as well if I was in a relationship. You have no personal space, it's all community. Adding in the pets will make it even more crowded. My 11 year old would visit on weekends and we got by. Next spring I hope that we will head off for the mountains somewhere and I will find out how it is to share the space with another person. Let me know how it goes or you may PM me if you like for more info.
