Nurses Career Support

I have been a LPN for 2 years now and still unsure if nursing is for me. I have had 4 jobs in those 2 years all of them has been nursing homes, that's the only places that would hire new grads around the place that I live unless you know people in the right places. I have tried to stick with my jobs but couldn't do it and I would just quit. I know it's not very professional and I feel really bad about it but I just can't help it, I just don't like nursing homes. I have applied for jobs in clinics and would get an interview but the response in the end would be "We are looking for someone with a little more experience", and it's very disappointing because I know I can do the job and the hospitals around here do not hire LPN's any more just RN's. For that reason I enrolled in college for my associates degree for RN, hoping this would get me into a job that I would like to do. But I always have this thought in my mind that I should just pursue another career. I sit there and think I don't need the stress in my life. So right now I feel like I am stuck in the middle of the road and don't know what to do. I don't know if its bad experiences I have had or if I should really consider a new career:confused:. I have been back and forth with this problem for weeks now and it's sbout to drive me crazy. I have asked for others advise but no luck so I thought why not a nurse ask other nurses for help. Any advise would be appreciated.:)
I just realized I spelled "advice" as "advise"...sorry everyone, lol...distracted by my 3 year old.

You ever think of doing home care? Or do you think you can stick it out in a nursing home just long enough to be considered "experienced?"
