Is anyone a juicing devotee? Yes, it's 5am and I'm watching a Jack Lalanne juicer commercial... But it seems reasonable that I might be able to take in more fruits/veg in juice form. I just remember an old diet tip that says you should eat fruit and not drink it, because the amount of juice it takes to fill you up has far more calories than the amount of fruit to fill you up, because you lose the fiber.
Thoughts, experiences?

My opinion is juicing is a good way to get a lot of antioxidants from fruits and vegetables, that you probably wouldn't otherwise eat.
It also can be very high glycemic, so if you're sensitive that way, juiciing might not be a good idea.
I think as a supplement to a diet that includes a lot of whole fruits and vegetables it's fine, but as a substitute not a good idea because you will be missing out on the fiber and perhaps some of the smaller phytonutrients.
