To those with an android phone who want to motivate each other?

Hey! I'm a nursing student who just finished my 1st year in May with 3 more years to go.

I'm also taking Anatomy and Physiology in the summer (right now)

I recently discovered an app on my Samsung Note 2 phone called "StudyMate." I searched the Apple app store and nothing for it came out yet, which is why I'm addressing Android users specifically.

So basically the app (all in Korean though, but it's simple to use even without having to learn Korean) lets you create a group of max. 10 people and we just all record how long we study every day, like a stopwatch. The description reads "You need to study as much as your competitors do. You can check how long they study in StudyMate."

We can check how much each person studied per day, etc. I think the numbers reset every day, but I'm thinking this would be great motivation for people who need some studying motivation :p I get lonely/bored while studying, but it reassures me that others are studying 'with me'. I also have a competitive nature so I tend to study a bit longer with this app on

Below I'm going to put the name and password to the private group I made, if anyone wants to join :)

There's also a 'group chat' function so we can leave messages to one another!

What do you guys think of this idea?

Just input these into the "study room" button for private study rooms and you should be able to find the group

Please join, whether it be for the NCLEX or exams or you're trying to get in nursing school :')

Hey! I just looked it up. It's the app with the angry emoji with fire in his eyes and a headband? That's what it shows on my phone lol. I'm gonna install it! Thanks for sharing that, I'm just like you. I get so bored studying especially if I'm really not interested in it lol. And I'm the biggest procrastinator too lol. I'm starting nursing school in the fall, so that app with definitely help me. Good luck with A&P, I loved the first one. And good luck in nursing school too:)

Haha yep that's the one:) so glad you could join! I'm planning on keeping this app for the long run so it'd be great having some fellow nursing students on it!

Yeah of course we can keep each other motivated! I'm all for it. And thank you for the congrats! I'm not taking classes now but I'll be starting my program in September! This is my first summer that I don't have any classes to take and I am taking full advantage of it lol but I will install the app and once I start classes join your group:)
