Hey, I was wondering if anyone out there applied at TTCN for the January 08 LPN program. They said letters should be mailed out in August. I was looking for someone to obsess with me while we wait :lol2:. Send me a PM or reply here if you want!

Did you get in? I am starting @ Crump TN Tech center next Tuesday,

wished I would have found this site sonner, I would have had someone to obsess with;)!!!!!!

I still haven't gotten a letter yet!! Should be this week though! You'll have to let me know how your first day goes!

Well I got accepted into the Brownsville Tech. Center. I start Tuesday.

Don't worry you will get in. What was your score? I scored a 166. They usually just send them like a month before you start.

What was the process you had to go thru? I am assuming its differnt for all Tech. centers. We had to take the NET but was told as long as we passed it was fine that higher scores did not mean you would be accepted . Then we had an interveiw, and I felt like they knew who they were chossing then.

Did they stress to you guys they did not want you working??

I had not planned on working but I got hooked up with a gal from the local hospital who was talking to me about partime work on weekends. We are going to see how school goes first. I really don't know what to expect, I have heard some grads say they spent 4-6 hours a NIGHT studying! Then some say they worked partime? I am prepared to budget !!

Star..a 166? did you take the NET? or a different test b/c I think I made high 80's on both parts of the NET and if thats the case I think I did pretty bad LOL!

Hope..our process was pretty much the same as yours. How long was your interview? They did like 5 minute interviews with us. They did stress not working, especially during the first trimester. And they grilled me during my interview about childcare, making sure I had a backup for daycare and backup for that backup just in case LOL.

I'm excited for you guys though! Only a week until you start!!

Yeah it was the net you add both numbers together to get your score. I as #4 if your number is higher you definately made it. Good luck! Watch in Dec. that letter will be your Christmas letter.LOL.

Hey!! I just got my letter today! I'm in!!! I'm so excited!! AHHH!! :D:D:D Thank you all for your encouragement, I was starting to think I was going to get rejected! LOL
