TN renewal question

Hi, I need a little advice.

How do I renew my TN visa by mail. My employer gave me a new letter but will not do any leg work that will cost them money. Can I send it in myself? I really do not want to fly my entire family home to renew the tn at the border. I could save $2000 by mailing it in.

Do you have time to mail it in? Mailing it in the recommendation is to do it about 3 months (and now with everything going on maybe even longer) before the TN expires. The information is on the USCIS website of the forms required but you may want your employer's attorney to help you with it to make sure everything goes smoothly. May still be cheaper than flying home. Personally I would feel a lot more confident with original documents etc... to do it in person but that is up to you. You may want to check if they allow premium processing for TN's but that will cost you $1000 just for that as well.
