We were told by the teacher to read a chapter before class. Always be prepared. Well we all get to class and she was asking questions to students. Some people obviously did not read the chapter. So the whole class gets punished and she made us come in at 930. The next time we had her for class. We have class at 1130. We had A&P from 930 to 330. The were a lot of us who already did everything. I am so tired of people disrespecting the teacher, continuously talking. Complaining about every little thing and what is the result? We have to come in for a full day, we have to read extra chapters and have written work over the weekend. We have a test already next week in fundamentals. There are a lot of livid people. Those that do their work should not be punished! What to do!!

Sounds like my program. It is really frustrating. Too many people just want to get through without doing anything to earn it, and then those of us who are dedicated get punished for it.
It makes me concerned for the kind of nurses that are being put out in the field. I don't want those students being my nurse someday. Yikes!

Yep this is the case in a lot of programs.
Even though it's frustrating, just put your head down, try to ignore and focus on your goal.
