Tired of being 2nd choice.

I've had several job interviews where I was not offered the position, but was told I was the 2nd pick.

I have a 3rd interview on Monday with a home health company I've been trying to get a job at for a year now.

How do I ensure that THIS time I'm the #1 choice & not #2.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Keep up your confidence and enthusiasm, this can be difficult after

coming close to getting the other jobs.

Make a list of why you are right for the job, and sell yourself in positive

terms..Give them some excellent examples of why you should be

on the team.

There are many factors that play into hiring.

You may get a call yet from one of the other jobs you mentioned that the first

individual selected has decided not to go forward. This is how I got a

job as the second candidate years ago. Stayed in that job over 6 yrs.

You never know, so best wishes with the new interview and keep

us posted!
