Tips for starting patho in the fall

Published

Hello friends! I am new to this website and think it is a wonderful place for discussions and helping each other out. :)

I start my pathophysiology class in the fall and was wondering if anyone had tips that helped them when they took the course.

I received an A in both A&P 1 and 2 and absolutely loved the material. I was looking through older forums on here and saw that flashcards and revising A&P notes helped others. I have started working on that but I would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction on how to start studying for patho if you guys know any websites or have notes so I can start getting familiar with the info as I am almost done revising old material.

I heard we have a great instructor and cannot wait to start the class! Thank you all so much for your help :)

The only thing I would say is figure out if the instructor utilizes the book more over lecture notes. I'm sure you will be assigned a tremendous amount of reading and if you are taking other courses it might not always be doable to read everything. Patho will carry you through, but you will cover patho in every class going forward. Patho is great because you start to see how everything is connected.

That is a great idea, thanks! Yeah, I'm also in mental health, clinical concepts, and an english class so I think i'll be doing a lot of reading in the fall!
