I just took my NCLEX at 10 a.m today.... I also took 75 questions and didn't have any "alternative format" questions at all. I prepared for the exam and took the week long Kaplan prep course, so I felt pretty good about it when i left, but now I'm getting nervous and remembering those questions I wasn't sure about and second guessing myself. I don't have any tips on how to wait this out, I just wanted to let you know I feel your pain! I am thinking I also need a few stiff drinks to decrease my anxiety level. If you are able to log in earlier (like today)to view your result, let me know via this message board--because I have already checked to see if my result was up too!

I just took my test too-- and I'm torn between thinking that I start studying again (in case I need to take it again) and just vegging out. So far, the vegging out has won. Here's what I've accomplished since this morning (my test was in the morning)---
1. Met a friend for lunch
2. Wandered around the city and bought some scrubs
3. Looked at the new Crate & Barrel catalog (if I pass and start earning money at my job, I'll soon be able to do more than just look!)
4. Watch a movie on TV
5. Read mail that has piled up these past few days
6. Paid bills
7. Checked the state BON site about a billion times (even though I know that my results won't be up today)
8. Looked in my nursing textbook for answers to questions I wasn't sure I answered right
9. Looked at tropical vacations (just for the heck of it)
10. Called a friend who had no idea I took the NCLEX today and just talked about normal stuff. :)
Sigh.
Now I need to distract myself for another day or two....

ahhhhh.
i finished my nclex about 3 hours ago and i'm already going insane waiting to find out if i passed. it's torture! even though i know i won't find out my results till tomorrow at the earliest, i keep checking the website just to see if maybe i'll get lucky. i had 75 questions so even though i know you can't tell if you pass or fail based on the # of questions, i keep analyzing that 75 thinking of all the different ways i could have passed or failed with that number. anyone else waiting for results?
oh, need a drink!
