Tips to get into infusion nursing?

Does anyone have any tips for a newer nurse (one year PICU experience) who is trying to get into an outpatient infusion center?

I'm in San Diego County and don't see many job postings, just a lot of home health postings. Wondering if there was any potential for this field in SD county?

You might want to look into pharmacies such as CVS ( Coram) as they employ their own team of infusion nurses to administer infusions in the home Care setting. if you wanted to be in an infusion center mostly those are attached to a hospital so people can come get their antbiotics without being admitted.
